At present, Huajian group owns six modern production lines and shoe material fields in Ethiopia, and the number of women's shoes exported annually can reach 2 million pairs, with an annual profit margin of 10%.

Song Yiping said that at present, the political environment in Ethiopia is stable, the economic development momentum is good, the urbanization process is constantly advancing and the consumer market is also expanding. In order to further expand the enterprises, Huajian has launched the construction of the Huajian International Light Industrial Park in Dongguan, China in April 2015. The park will mainly manufacture light industries such as clothing, shoes and hats and electronic products. It is expected that the first phase of the plant can be completed by the end of this year, and the project will be completed in 2020.

According to introducing, at that time, enterprises involved in shoemaking and clothing upstream and downstream supporting industries will enter the park, thus improving the industrial chain of the Ethiopian leather industry. The number of workers is expected to reach fifty thousand.

After the completion of the project, part of the labor-intensive industries in Dongguan will be pferred to the park. More than 60% of the products of Ethiopia shoes and garments will be from Huajian light industrial park.
