From October 21 to 22, the national final of the 2024 professional skills competition for textile fabric designers (weaving and knitting) in the textile industry was held in Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. Five textile industry employees in Shishi City, including Fujian Xiesheng Xiefeng Printing and Dyeing Industry Co., Ltd., Ganglong (Fujian) New Textile Materials Co., Ltd., and Shishi 668 Textile Technology Co., Ltd., respectively participated in the competitions of textile fabric designers in the categories of weaving and knitting.
It is reported that the national finals of the 2024 textile fabric designer (weaving, knitting) professional skills competition in the textile industry will be hosted by the China Textile Industry Federation and the China Finance, Trade, Light Textile and Tobacco Trade Union, organized by the China Textile Information Center, and co organized by the Textile Product Development Center. The contest is themed "Harmony and Symbiosis" and consists of theoretical knowledge examination and practical operation examination. A total of 75 textile fabric designers from Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Fujian and other provinces gathered in the final to compete fiercely. As an important textile industry cluster area in China, Zhang Changmou and Zhang Tinggao of the 668 Textile Technology Co., Ltd. in Shishi City, Wu Songlin of Fujian Xiesheng Xiefeng Printing and Dyeing Industry Co., Ltd., Lin Guoliang of Ganglong (Fujian) New Textile Materials Co., Ltd., and Wang Wendun of Weitai (China) Industry Co., Ltd. actively participated in the competition.
Fabric designer is an important force to improve the added value of products. This competition selects the best from the best, comprehensively evaluates the ingenuity of textile fabric designers from multiple dimensions such as process design and work quality, innovation, market potential, popularity, and so on, and deeply excavates the outstanding design talents in the industry.
