Entering the non-woven material production workshop of Shandong Taipeng Group Co., Ltd. in Feicheng High tech Zone, we can see the scene of intelligent production everywhere. In the huge workshop, only a dozen workers are busy, and a set of highly automated equipment is rumbling. "Every morning after work, my first thing is to go to the production line to check, and then go to the office to schedule production and dock orders..." said Zhang Quancheng, who is mainly responsible for production scheduling and operation management.

Innovation is the driving force for the development of the enterprise. Starting from a small towel factory, it has gone through reform, development, innovation, standardization and high-end all the way from the initial stage to the growth stage, and then to the industry leading and becoming a giant. Till now, Taipeng Group has become the "industry giant" of China's top ten nonwovens and the national single champion of the manufacturing industry.

It is understood that Shandong Taipeng Group Co., Ltd. mainly produces three series of products, namely environmental friendly filter materials, smart home and ecological home textiles. The group has five subsidiaries. On November 16 this year, Taipeng Group ushered in an important moment: its subsidiary Shandong Taipeng Smart Home Co., Ltd. was successfully listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange, marking the breakthrough of Feicheng in achieving zero listed enterprises.

As a traditional textile industry, Taipeng Group has also experienced the pain of industrial transformation and upgrading. "At that time, the enterprise was mainly engaged in glue spraying cotton, with low added value and poor competitiveness of its products. In addition to backward equipment and low-end technology, its production and operation were difficult, and it was once in danger of being acquired." After the restructuring of the enterprise in 2002, Liu Jiansan served as the chairman of Taipeng Group. According to his recollection, the then Taipeng Group had only one way to die after thorough investigation and research, The company decided to take the high-end differentiation strategy and boldly try to enter the project. In 2006, Taipeng Group launched the first polyester non-woven fabric production line in Shandong Province. As soon as the product was put on the market, it attracted a large number of orders, and the benefit doubled that year.

"Now, green high-end is our greatest competitiveness," said Liu Jiansan. It is the inevitable evolution of the textile industry and the trend of conforming to the new development pattern to move towards the middle and high end. Since 2002, Taipeng Group has invested nearly 1 billion yuan to build seven high-end differential polyester non-woven production lines. In 2022, Taipeng Group took a new step in high-end differentiation. The new seven lines of environmental protection filter materials were put into production in 2023. This project has established Taipeng's leading position in the global environmental protection filter industry. "Relying on Huawei's industrial Internet technology, the production efficiency of this workshop can be more than 20% higher than that of European and American industry leaders." Chairman Liu Jiansan said.

At present, Taipeng Group has 191 valid intellectual property rights, including 19 invention patents, 106 utility model patents, 29 design patents and 37 software copyrights. He presided over and participated in the formulation of 16 industry (group) standards, won 8 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, and 15 municipal science and technology awards. Taipeng Group has been among the top 10 nonwovens industry in China for 12 consecutive years, has a single national champion product in manufacturing industry, and is the research and development base of China's textile melt nonwoven filter materials.
