In June 1950, the war of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea broke out. At that time, the military supplies production department of the Central South military region accepted the task of producing military socks and towels for the volunteer army. In October of that year, the logistics material support base was established. After field investigation, it was located in Baihuling, Makou Town, which is relatively hidden and has convenient land and water transportation. During the period of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea, more than 3 million military socks and towels were produced. In 1965, it was renamed the no.3509 factory of the Chinese people's Liberation Army.
