It Is Expected That Bangladesh'S Textile Export Will Return To Its Pre Epidemic Level In October This Year; The People'S Republic Of Bangladesh; Textiles; Exit

According to Bangladesh's "Daily Star" on June 1, the chairman of Bangladesh textile and Export Enterprises Federation said at a news conference that with the opening of retail stores of Western clothing industry, Bangladesh's textile industry exports gradually picked up, and it is expected that the export volume will return to the pre epidemic level in October this year.

From July 2020 to April 2021, Bangladesh's textile export volume was 26 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 6.24%, showing the resilience of Bangladesh's textile industry in the plight of the epidemic. Among the 26 billion US dollars in exports, knitted fabrics accounted for 13.99 billion US dollars, an increase of 15.34% year-on-year, and textiles accounted for 12 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 2.71%.
