On January 11, Hongze district held a report meeting to promote the development of Hongze textile industry cluster. Zhang Chonglin, Secretary of the district Party committee, made a request. Zhang Chonglin required that the direction should be firm and the trend of leading industries should be continuously demonstrated. The demonstration of the trend of leading industries not only conforms to the law of economic development and the trend of industry development, but also meets the requirements of the provincial and municipal Party committee. We should gradually form one or two leading industries to focus on development. These two leading industries should be easy to control in terms of cost, environmental capacity and environmental protection bottom line. We should form cluster economic development around these two leading industries and promote long-term development.

We should make up our minds to break the bottleneck restricting the development of leading industries. A preliminary consensus has been reached to guide the development of textile industry into a local leading industry. It is necessary to plan ahead of time, scientifically demonstrate, gather various elements to the textile industry, and strive to solve the problems in the process of agglomeration, such as land spatial layout planning, incremental elements, policy support, etc. The economic development zone, the national development and Reform Commission and other relevant units should formulate phased plans, gradually optimize and match the stock factors, and implement the development goals in detail.

It is necessary to make sure the foundation and function of the existing industries, understand the development ideas and objectives of the existing basic industries, clarify the cost of investment and effective ways of development, communicate repeatedly, integrate resources, create fertile soil for industrial development and form a development ecological chain.

Draw up the boundary and focus on finding the main attack points in line with the direction of high and new characteristics. Textile industry is an industry that meets the basic needs of the people.
