The cotton grower said that it is expected that the yield per hectare will be more than 400 kg / mu this year, which will not be lower than last year.

According to this year, the cotton picking area in Xinjiang has been affected by the shortage of manpower. In terms of long staple cotton, the total area of Aksu and Awati counties this year is lower than that in 2019, among which Awati county is about 900000 mu.

With the cotton entering the topping stage, the main work of cotton farmers is to strengthen the field management, and the chemical fertilizer for drip irrigation is mainly phosphorus and potassium. It is more important to spray cotton aphids once a week with the emergence of cotton pests and diseases.
