The project was led by Professor Han Chunmao, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, and Professor Huang Qing, a research and development team of the Chinese Academy of textile science. The project implementation cycle lasted four and a half years.

The project held an opening meeting in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The conference made a specific division of labor for all research institutes involved in the project.

In the project, the "Haixi courtyard" is mainly responsible for the structure design of the project PGA and its copolymer warp knitting support network, the development and evaluation of the knitting technology and the construction of the demonstration line for the industrialization of medical textile materials.

The core of this project is to integrate the good biocompatibility of natural biomaterials and the superior mechanical properties of polyglycolic acid and its copolymer macromolecule fiber materials. The warp knitted textile technology and tissue engineering technology are expected to produce biocompatibility and biodegradability.

The dermal substitute is good, and the rapid regeneration of dermal tissue can be achieved through proper functional modification.

The demonstration line of the project will be located in the research building of the "three Chuang yuan" Haixi Academy in Jinjiang, Fujian.

Project research and development team said that the future project research results will extend to all kinds of medical absorbable organ repair materials implanted into the human body, including the research and production of absorbable xenon patch, lung patch, cardiac patch, meningeal patch and other medical textiles, meeting the needs of Jinjiang industrial pformation upgrading, and exploring new economic growth points for future development.

At the same time, the implementation of the project will fill the gaps in the field of medical textile materials in Jinjiang, and play a leading role in the pformation and upgrading of Jinjiang textile and footwear enterprises.
