1 filtering function


This is a large category of wet nonwovens.

According to the use occasions and requirements, it is optional.

Products are widely used in many areas, such as food filtration (coffee filtration, pure water filtration, tea bags), air filtration (air purification, vacuum cleaner bags, gas masks, etc.), engine oil filtration, fuel filtration, exhaust gas and smoke filtration, etc.


2 electrical insulation function


The battery separator is one of the main products in addition to some insulating materials, such as laminated printed circuit boards, etc.

In China, different fiber materials have been selected and wet process has been used to develop nickel cadmium battery, low-pressure nickel hydrogen battery, high pressure nickel hydrogen battery, alkaline manganese battery, zinc air battery, silver zinc battery, lithium battery and so on.


3 temperature and heat insulation function


These products can be broadly classified into two categories: high temperature insulation and low temperature insulation.

The temperature resistance of organic fiber is limited, and it can be used as the main fiber in low temperature insulation materials.

A liquid nitrogen level (1 196 degree) insulation material has been developed and applied in biological dulla container.

In the series of high temperature insulation materials, inorganic fibers and mineral fibers are mainly used.

Asbestos fiber has been widely used in various industrial materials due to its low cost, high strength, good heat insulation and flame retardancy. With the improvement of people's health consciousness, asbestos has a fatal weakness, carcinogenicity, which has been strictly restricted, and people have to find alternatives.

Since 80s, a series of high temperature insulation materials with different properties have been developed by using inorganic fibers such as alumina, ceramic fiber, aluminum silicate fiber and glass fiber.

In addition to being used for thermal insulation, heat insulation and heat radiation in thermal batteries, a typical use is the oxygen probe protection tube used in metallurgical industry. It has the characteristics of continuous 10s no ablation, no ignition and no splash of molten steel in 17000C steel water. It has been used in Baosteel, Shougang, Angang and other enterprises, replacing the import protective tube.


4 adsorption function


With the development of production technology, the requirements for production environment and testing environment in various industrial fields have been continuously raised. Energy conservation is also on the agenda. Therefore, materials with functions of heat absorption, moisture absorption, odor elimination, deodorization, odor control, antibacterial, bacteria control and fresh-keeping have emerged.

In the former heat exchangers, the aluminum foil runner is used. When applied to chlorine gas and water molecules exist, chlorine turns into hydrochloric acid, and at the same time produces oxygen. Two kinds of products have strong corrosion on metals, so the application scope is restricted.

The wet nonwovens, mainly made of inorganic fibers, are used to heat and pfer the heat exchangers to make the wheels of the exchangers, showing strong corrosion resistance. They can be applied to various complicated and harsh environmental conditions.

The wet nonwovens made of fiberglass or other inorganic fibers are mainly made of wet absorbent and rolled into corrugated sheets. The dehumidifying wheels are assembled into rotary dehumidifiers, which have been widely used in pharmaceutical, glass, etc.

The production workshops, blood banks, warehouses and other places of food, rubber and other industries can also be applied to satellite launching bases, nuclear power stations, lithium battery production workshops and national defense industrial equipment.


5 mechanical characteristics


Products with mechanical properties are increasing year by year, especially high performance products with high strength, high modulus, high elasticity and wear resistance.

The representative products are: Nomex paper made of aramid fiber, which can be processed into honeycomb structure material, aircraft wings, floors, hatch doors, radome, etc. The paper made of carbon fiber can be made into wheel rubbing materials through special laminating, chemical vapor deposition and thickening process.

Wet nonwovens can also be applied to medical care, 13 regular life, building materials, printing and packaging, materials for testing and so on.

In 80s, we made sanitary napkins and other materials. Because hand feeling was not as good as dry nonwovens, they were eliminated with the development of new sanitary napkins and new varieties.

Some products, such as paper masks and paper tablecloths, occupy a place in the field due to their price and performance advantages.
