According to signet & Lee world industries LLC, a women's shoe manufacturer in the United States (hereinafter referred to as the target selling enterprise) plans to transfer its factory in the United States and is looking for a potential buyer from China. It designs and sells high-end shoes for female customers aged 35 and 65. Its products are sold in American shoe stores, fashion stores and department stores (such as Nordstrom, JC Penny International). In addition, another 10% of the products are sold to high-end retail stores in Canada, Australia, Mexico and the Philippines. The target selling enterprise was established in the early 1980s, and has a history of more than 20 years, and its sales volume has been increasing continuously in the past three years. The products of the target company are designed by Italian designers, most of which are directly produced in the United States (with the logo made in USA as the selling point). It is one of the few domestic shoe manufacturers in the United States, and a small part of the products are contracted out to overseas production. The company is located in the North Hollywood area of California. The owners are husband and wife. Because they are old, they plan to sell the company to arrange retirement. The sale price of the target company is no more than 3 million US dollars (including 800000 US dollars of inventory and 400000 US dollars of equipment and facilities), and has 64 full-time employees. In 2007, the sales volume was 5 million US dollars and the net cash flow was 500000 US dollars. After the target selling enterprise is sold, the owner can stay in the company for a period of time to assist the new owner in the smooth transition. Li Shi capital is looking for Chinese shoe manufacturers who have plans to develop or are already exploring the international market as potential purchasers. Interested enterprises please consult shoe making office of China Leather Association.
