industry

The seamless weaving industry in Yiwu started around 2002.

At present,

Yiwu

It has become the main production base of seamless weaving in China. The output has accounted for 70% of the total output of the country and 10% of the world's total.

To create this remarkable achievement is more than 200 similar enterprises in Yiwu.

"If it's the traditional knitting industry, it will take at least 1000 enterprises of different sizes to achieve this scale."

Tao Jianwei, President of Yiwu seamless underwear industry association, said.

From the beginning of the seamless weaving industry, Tao Jianwei and others abandoned the idea of using manpower and sea tactics for labor-intensive enterprises, and imported a large number of high-end automatic machines from overseas to replace workers.

Statistics show that from 2006 to 2010, seamless weaving high-end machinery in Yiwu has increased from the original hundreds to more than 8000.

These high-end machines can improve the quality of products while saving tens of thousands of workers for the knitting industry in Yiwu.

Tao Jianwei originally worked in a public institution in Hangzhou.

After returning to Yiwu, he first helped his parents run a shirt factory.

After running a few years, he felt the pressure of rising labor costs.

At a clothing machinery exhibition, Tao Jianwei saw the seamless eye of the weaving automation equipment.

"This kind of equipment can reduce the manpower cost by about 1/3 compared to the traditional knitting industry."

He said.

In January 2002, Tao Jianwei's seamless weaving enterprise began to put into production. After 1 years, he completely withdrew from the shirt industry.

At present, his company has about 3000 employees. With the automation level of high-end machines, his enterprise's annual labor cost has been saved by tens of millions of yuan, and the shortage of migrant workers has been avoided.
