The general office of the State Council recently forwarded the opinions of the national development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of transport on further reducing logistics costs.

"Opinions" pointed out that in recent years, the level of social logistics costs has maintained a steady decline. However, the problems of high logistics cost and low efficiency in some fields are still outstanding. In particular, influenced by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, social logistics costs are rising at a stage, which is difficult to adapt to the requirements of building a modern economic system and promoting the development of high quality. In order to further reduce logistics costs, improve logistics efficiency and speed up the restoration of production and life order, the opinions put forward six policy measures.

The opinions require that all regions and departments should strengthen policy coordination and coordination, conscientiously implement their responsibilities, and conscientiously organize and implement them in the light of the actual departments in the region. The national development and Reform Commission should work with relevant departments to play the role of the inter ministerial Joint Conference on modern logistics in the whole country, strengthen work guidance, and promptly summarize and popularize the typical experience and practices of reducing logistics costs, coordinate and solve the problems existing in the implementation of policies, and ensure that all policies and measures fall into effect.
