Xinjiang Market Supervision Bureau: 44 Sets Of Clothing, Clothing, Household Products, Sampling Failed!
In April 30, 2019, the website of the the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region market supervision and Administration Bureau issued a circular on the spot checks of commodity quality in the field of circulation in 2018. A total of 168 sales units were selected, and 419 sets of commodities were inspected. 304 groups were qualified and 115 failed.
Among them, leisure (Sports) clothing category 5 groups of goods were found to be unqualified.
The unqualified items are mainly fiber content.
A total of 8 groups of children clothing products were found to be unqualified.
The unqualified items are mainly pH value, rope requirement and fiber content.
A total of 10 groups of adult leather shoes were found to be unqualified.
The unqualified items are: signs, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes.
A total of 9 groups of children footwear were found to be unqualified.
The unqualified items are mainly identified, free or partially hydrolyzed formaldehyde and heavy metals (arsenic, lead and cadmium).
Four sets of bedding and quilt class were detected, and 12 sets of goods were unqualified.
The unqualified items are mainly decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, pH value, dry rubbing fastness, wet rubbing fastness, breaking strength and fiber content.
The circular pointed out that in order to ensure the safety of consumers, the market supervision and management organs will check the relevant commodities in the market according to the spot checks, and deal with the unqualified products sold according to law.
The unqualified production enterprises and relevant distribution units that are publicized shall take the initiative to take measures to protect consumers' legitimate rights and interests in accordance with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations.
