At present, 56 batches of imported high-end ornaments have been tested, 33 failed, and the unqualified rate is as high as 58.93%. The unqualified items are soluble lead, cadmium and nickel exceeding the standard. The 212 batch of imported garment inspection has been completed, among which 18 color fastness is not qualified, the failure rate is 8.5%, and the content of fiber is not consistent with the label, 4 batches, the failure rate is 4.4%, the pH value and formaldehyde are not qualified, 1 batches, of which the Chinese product identification rate is even 88.6%.


According to professionals, excessive lead in simulation jewelry can lead to anemia in humans, causing headache, dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, constipation and limb soreness. Excessive cadmium can cause pulmonary edema, hypertension, anemia, osteomalacia, and even loss of smell, and frequent exposure to nickel products can cause dermatitis, eczema, erythema and other discomfort.


Shanghai entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau official told reporters that, for products that do not meet the requirements of China's mandatory technical standards, the Bureau has implemented destruction or disposal. For Chinese identification and labeling problems, importers are required to carry out rectification.


According to introducing, while strengthening supervision, Shanghai inspection and Quarantine Bureau also actively launched new measures to speed up trade facilitation, so as to help enterprises increase import clearance speed and reduce the cost of Importers' testing samples.
